Creating Diary Exclusions for Closings or Reduced Technicians

Diary exclusions allow you to reduce the number of technicians available or show your workshop as closed. Once added, exclusions can be edited or deleted at any time.

To set your workshop as closed:

1. Click Diary from the Workshop menu option. 
   
2. Use the navigation arrows at the top to navigate to the desired week. 
   
3. Click Create diary exclusion. 
   
4. Choose the appropriate day from the Exclusion date drop-down menu.
   
5. Tick the Closed for the day box. 
   
6. Add Notes if needed to explain the closing.
   
7. Click Create when finished.

To reduce available technicians:

1. Click Diary from the Workshop menu option. 
   
2. Use the navigation arrows at the top to navigate to the desired week. 
   
3. Click Create diary exclusion. 
   
4. Choose the appropriate day from the Exclusion date drop-down menu. 
   
5. Enter the number of Technicians to exclude that day in the provided field.
   
6. Add Notes if needed explaining the exclusion.
   
7. Click Create when finished.
