Understanding the Customer Online Booking Process

The BookLink process begins with your customer creating their booking using the steps outlined below.


To request a booking:

  1. Go to the Group or Dealer's website for your vehicle brand or your local dealer's website.
  2. Enter your vehicle's registration number and mileage, and click the magnifying glass (8077_CustomerBooking16.jpg).

  3. When your vehicle appears, confirm it is yours and click Continue

  4. Enter your Postcode or Town and click the magnifying glass (8077_CustomerBooking16.jpg) to search. (If booking from your local dealer's website, you will skip this step.)

  5. Choose a dealer workshop from the provided list and click Continue. Note: Distances are calculated as straight-line distances instead of driving distances. This can affect accuracy in some cases (such as when a large body of water separates locations). 
    1. If your dealership does not display in the initial list, click View more Retailers. (If booking from your local dealer's website, you will skip this step.)

  6. Choose the work you would like performed. Note: Click the information icon (8077_CustomerBooking6.jpg) to learn about a service.

    1. If work is not listed, enter it in the Comments field. The dealer will reach out to talk about the details of the request.

  7. The total of the selected work appears in the Booking Summary box.

  8. Choose a date for your visit. Note: Only available dates will show.

  9. Choose a preferred Drop off TimeNote: Only available time slots will show.

  10. Choose an option from the Alternative Transport Options? drop-down menu.

  11. When ready, click Continue
  12. Enter your contact information. Note: Click the magnifying glass (8077_CustomerBooking16.jpg) to search for your address by postcode or click Enter address manually to add your address.

  13. (Optional) Choose a contact method for marketing and other alerts in the Consent section.

  14. Click Continue
  15. Review your booking summary.
    1. Click Change to modify information if needed.
    2. Click Confirm to continue.

  16.  A confirmation message displays, and your booking process is complete. You will receive an email confirmation after the dealer confirms your booking.
